Abstract

Wavefront reconstruction is a process by which a diffraction pattern can be restored into an image of the primary scatterer This process is being used to visualize the molecular structure of matter. Three-dimensional reconstruction is possible by means of a synthesizer which has two optic axes. The light in one arm of the synthesizer need not be coherent with respect to the light in the other arm.
