Abstract

This short article introduces the invited papers given at the Sixth International Conference of Vacuum Ultraviolet Radiation Physics held at the University of Virginia in June 1980 published in the 1 Dec. 1980 issue of Applied Optics. In addition, it briefly reviews the history of the VUV Conferences.
