Abstract

Metal-oxide-semiconductor rib waveguides are low loss for any polarization and are efficiently electrooptically modulated. We show COBRA switching of 90% with 15 V and a 2 × 4 switch matrix. These suggest versatile applications in integrated optical circuits.
