SLM-based laboratory investigation of scintillation in anisotropic turbulence

Abstract

A laboratory setup involving a spatial light modulator is described for examining the dependence of scintillation on both the spectral index of non-Kolmogorov turbulence and anisotropy. A comparison of laboratory results with existing theory is discussed.
