Abstract

Eye box enlargement in augmented reality (AR) head mounted display (HMD) system is a crucial issue. Expansion of the eye-box formed from the holographic image combiner can be achieved by exploiting Bragg mismatch condition in holographic optical elements (HOEs). In this paper, analysis of chromatic aberration in holographic image combiner is carried out with experimental set up and results when Bragg condition is not satisfied.
