Abstract

This paper simulates a nominal adaptive-optic system with the least squares principal value plus seven (LSPV+7) algorithm in a null-seeking control loop. The results show that upon correction using a continuous-face-sheet deformable mirror, there is an accumulation of branch cuts which seriously degrades closed-loop performance.
