Abstract

We discuss the influence of atmospheric turbulence on free-space optical (FSO) communications employing multiplexing of orbital-angular-momentum (OAM) beams. We describe turbulence mitigation approaches of using adaptive optics and signal processing algorithms for OAM multiplexed FSO systems.
