Abstract

This paper discusses the spectrally selective properties of Ag-Na3AlF6 multilayer plasmonic nanocomposites formed on glass, quartz, and polymer substrates during thermal evaporation in vacuum. It is demonstrated that they can be used as a basis for creating broad-band optical coatings characterized by strong absorption of electromagnetic radiation in the visible region and low reflectance in the absorption region.
