Abstract
This article describes a new high-accuracy laser measurement device for monitoring the shape and relative position of the surfaces of large-scale items 100 m long or longer. A stable readout base that is independent of the position of the axis of the directional diagram of the laser radiation is created in the device. Interference transformation of the laser radiation was used to obtain a concentric annular structure in the beam that maintains a stable position relative to the axis along which the radiation propagates, and this allowed detector readout devices to be directly referenced to the axis of the laser beam without preprocessing the image. The technical characteristics of the device and its distinguishing features are presented.
