Abstract

This paper proposes a technique for calculating the lower limit of the confidence interval for the probability of resolving a target with test-stand monitoring of the operating range of a thermal viewer, based on a statistical estimate of this probability for a thermal contrast of the target equal to 0.8-0.9 from the normalized value.
