Abstract
This paper proposes a technique for determining how various photophysical mechanisms influence the broadening and displacement of spectral bands, based on the study of the phosphorescence kinetics over their contour. Using the technique thus developed, the causes are determined for the short-wavelength temperature displacement of the phosphorescence spectra of acenaphthene in frozen n-paraffin solutions at high concentrations. © 2004 Optical Society of America
