Abstract
The phenomenon of total external reflection can be successfully applied to the construction of x-ray conducting pipes. Pipe transmission as a function of length and radial source position are investigated, as well as energy constancy of the transmitted radiation. Transmission is strongly energy dependent, favoring low energies.
