Depth Reconstruction from the Defocus Effect of an XSlit Camera

Abstract

We introduce an physical implementation of the XSlit camera by using a pair of cylindrical lenses. By analyzing the XSlit defocus effect and strategically endcoding each slit aperture, a depth reconstruction algorithm is developed.
