Energy Calculation with Guaranteed Error Bounds for the States of Para-Helium Singlets from Spectral Measurements

Abstract

A simple but modern numerical approach to error analysis is applied to spectral measurements for para-helium singlets to yield energy states. The methodology yields approximations with guaranteed error bounds and can be extended in a natural way to other atomic species.
