A Simple System for Transferring Air-Sensitive Compounds into Capillaries from Schlenk Tubes

Abstract

Our organoactinide research has produced a number of extremely air-sensitive compounds. Experimental difficulties have been encountered during the transfer of these air-sensitive compounds from Schlenk tubes into capillary tubes for mass spectral analysis. To overcome these experimental difficulties, a simple transfer device (see Fig. 1) has been designed.
