Abstract

We obtained coherent radiation in the spectral region between 223 and 243 nm by frequency mixing the tunable output of a solid-state Ce3+:LiCAF laser with 1.064-μm radiation from a Nd3+:YAG pump laser in a β-barium borate nonlinear crystal.
