Abstract
A new high-speed spectrometer has been designed for the measurement of line profiles emitted by pulsed plasmas. This spectrometer, with a Fabry-Perot as disperser, presents the essential advantage of possessing an electronic radial scanning, without any mechanical elements. Moreover, the simplicity of the device, the direct visualization of the line profile on an oscilloscope, and the easy digital output for data storage are other advantages.
