Abstract

A method is described for measuring ametropia and voluntary accommodation response of the eye using laser speckle patterns. An explanation of the movement of laser speckle patterns is given based on geometrical optics. Results of refraction measurements at various wavelengths across the visible spectrum are given. Results of accommodation response measurements at various wavelengths across the visible spectrum are given.
