Abstract

Recent results on opto-mechanical/acoustical nonlinearities, excitation of orbital angular momentum states in helically twisted photonic crystal fibre (PCF), particle propulsion in hollow-core PCF and ultrafast nonlinear interactions in gas-filled PCF, will be reviewed.
