Abstract

The ultrafast exciton dynamics of Perylene Red nanoparticles is investigated by transient absorption spectroscopy. The singlet exciton moves incoherently in the nanoparticle with a diffusion constant of 0.22nm2/ps till it decays into a dark state within 85 ps.
