Intramolecular charge transfer state of “push-pull” dyes probed by femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy

Abstract

Two distinct Raman spectra of “push-pull” dyes, DCM and LD 688, in the locally-excited and charge-transfer states separately obtained from time-resolved Raman measurements, showed the existence of twist intramolecular charge transfer state in polar solvents.
