Abstract

Femtosecond photo-induced dissociation (gas phase) and transient absorption (solution) revealed multi-exponential electronic dynamics in a (AgI-AgI) phosphine complex. This is extended to vibrational wavepacket dynamics for its chlorine adduct (AgI-AgI)-Cl.
