Femtosecond Dynamics of Solvated Electrons in Nanodroplets Probed with Extreme Ultraviolet Beams

Abstract

We use ultrafast extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light to conduct time-resolved photoemission measurements of isolated nanodroplets in vacuum. We observe the creation and relaxation of solvated electrons within the nanodroplets after the absorption of EUV photons.
