Cavity-Enhanced Ultrafast Spectroscopy: Ultrafast meets Ultrasensitive

Abstract

Using a frequency comb laser and optical cavities, we introduce a new technique for performing femtosecond time-resolved optical spectroscopy with high sensitivity. We present transient absorption measurements with a noise level of ΔOD= 2 × 10−10.
