UV Harmonics from Solids Excited at High Repetition Rate by Intense and Phase-Locked Few-Cycle Pulses

Abstract

We harness carrier-envelope phase control of intense 2.3-cycle pulses from an optical parametric amplifier operating in the near infrared at 10 MHz repetition rate to produce even and odd harmonics up to fifth order from solids.
