Elliptical Dichroism of High Harmonics Emitted from Aligned Molecules

Abstract

By analyzing the polarization of harmonics emitted by aligned molecules driven by elliptically-polarized driving laser fields, we observe a structure-dependent dichroism. This suggests that electron dynamics within the molecule influence high harmonic generation.
