Abstract

A highly time-resolved pump-probe measurement for a halogen-bridged mixed-valence metal complex, [Pt(en)2][Pt(en)2Br2](ClO4)4, shows sinusoidal modulations accompanying with a unique behavior of probe-wavelength-dependent phase, suggesting an existence of a ligand motion coupled with the lattice vibration.
