Abstract

Advanced spectroscopies including terahertz absorption and third-order Raman scattering have been combined with molecular-dynamics simulations and instantaneous normal-mode analysis. This yields, for the first time, a deep understanding of the ultrafast dynamics of biologically-important liquids.
