Evidence for ultrafast superfluorescent recombination from high-density magneto-plasmas

Abstract

Ultrafast cooperative recombination from dense electron-hole plasmas is observed in quantum wells pumped by femtosecond pulse in strong magnetic fields. At a critical fluence and field strength, superfluorescent bursts with randomly fluctuating direction are observed.
