Abstract

The solvent intermolecular response in solvation is studied by 2-D polarizability response spectroscopy. The isotropic and anisotropic solvent response spectra of Coumarin 153 in CH3CN, measured during solvation, reveal enhanced translational vs. orientational dynamics.
