Carrier-envelope phase controlled quantum interference in a semiconductor

Abstract

We demonstrate quantum interference of injected photocurrents in a semiconductor using a phase stabilized modelocked Ti:sapphire laser. Using this technique we detect the carrier- envelope evolution with a 40 dB signal to noise ratio.
