Time-resolved electron imaging of femtosecond Laser ablation

Abstract

Pulsed electrons generated by intense femtosecond laser irradiation onto a metal target were applied for an electron imaging. An instantaneous charge-separated field built up at a femtosecond-laser-irradiated surface of a copper film was visualized.
