Vibrational phase characterization in femtosecond-pumped molecules by path-length modulation

Abstract

The ultrafast dynamics of cyanine dye molecule is studied by the pump-probe spectroscopy using 20 fs pulses establishing high sensitivity on the molecular vibration. The simulation reproduces the observed vibration-phase dependence on the mode frequencies.
