Abstract

The dominating part of electron injection from the transition metal complex Ru(dcbpy)2(NCS)2 into a titanium dioxide nanocrystalline film proceeds extremely rapidly from the initially populated, vibronically nonthermalized, singlet excited state of the molecule.
