Abstract

Low-frequency intramolecular solvent dynamics of toluene and chloroform, in response to photoexcitation of a solute molecule, have been measured with two-dimensional time-resolved THz spectroscopy. The underdamped solvent mode changes most after photoexcitation of the solute.
