Dynamic Mode Coupling in Molecules and Polymers Revealed by Sub-5-fs Real-time Spectroscopy

Abstract

Energy migration among the modes of C-C and C=C stretching and C=C-C bending in polymers and breathing and out-of-plane bending in dye molecules through mode coupling have been observed by using a sub-5fs visible laser.
