Reliability of Fourier-transform spectral interferometry

Abstract

We demonstrate the incidence of several issues detrimental to the reliability of spectral interferometry: frequency calibration, frequency interpolation, spectral resolution and aliasing. Taking these issues into account results in a more accurate retrieved spectral phase.
