Tunable third order dispersion of a prismatic pulse compressor

Abstract

The wavelength dependent thermal refractive index gives an extra degree of freedom for adjustment of higher order dispersion of a prismatic pulse compressor. The effect allows for fine tuning the intracavity dispersion of ultrafast oscillators.
