Complete characterisation of mid-infrared femtosecond pulses using XFROG

Abstract

We describe a frequency-resolved optical gating technique which we have used to simultaneously measure the amplitude and phase of two femtosecond pulses, one in the midinfrared with a wavelength of 2.4 µm and the other with a wavelength of 835 nm.
