Abstract

A spectrum-tunable integrating sphere light source using 25 kinds of LEDs and the basis sources has been developed at the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP). The source is designed to have a capability of producing typical ground objects spectra and calibrating space optical remote sensor, which can eliminate the absolute radiometric calibration error caused by spectral non-matching between calibration source and remote sensor’s on-orbit detecting target. The source’s performances were tested, and they all met design requirement.
