Functionalization of silicon surfaces with small molecule bioreceptors to enable fieldable biosensing

Abstract

We present our work of a surface modification method to universally incorporate molecular bioreceptors onto silicon surfaces through azidation and a Cu-free click reaction. The method is exemplified against streptavidin with biotin as the receptor.
