Integrated optical waveguide gas sensing using amplifier assisted technique

Abstract

We demonstrate gas sensing using integrated SÌO2 high-mesa waveguide within 0.9 xQ.9 cm2 size. By utilizing the amplifier assisted technique, 3% CO2 was successfully detected.
