Multi-connected fiber-optic Fabry-Perot sensors using optical connectors and OTDR

Abstract

We propose multi-connected sensors that utilize optical connectors and an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR). Experimental results demonstrate that the return loss characteristics of various media can be obtained easily using the sensors.
