Photothermal Gas Sensing Inside a Monolithic Diode- Pumped Solid-State Laser Resonator

Abstract

Here we present a novel, miniaturized and sub-ppm level gas sensor configuration. To estimate the gas sample concentration the photothermal effect inside a monolithic, diode-pumped solid-state laser (Nd:YVO4/YVO4/Air-Gap) resonator is induced.
