Investigating Physiological Signals in the Rat Brain with Optical Fiber Probe

Abstract

The physiological cardiac/respiratory activities in the rat cortex were recorded and evaluated with fiber probe. Despite different generation frequencies, the cardiac/respiratory pulse amplitudes show correlated dynamics in slow fluctuation, suggesting common modulation mechanism.
