A Novel Idea to Discriminate Strain and Temperature Variations of Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor

Abstract

Wavelength variation of fiber Bragg grating sensor is caused by strain and temperature. We propose a method to discriminate between these two parameters by measuring full width half maxima at different strain and temperature values.
