Bioresorbable calcium-phosphate optical fiber

Abstract

We report on development and characterization of a calcium-phosphate optical fiber able to combine bioresorbability and enhanced optical properties. The realized fiber showed the lowest optical losses published for bioresorbable optical waveguides.
