Fibre Optic Hydrogen Sulphide Gas Sensor Utilizing Cu/ZnO Nanoparticles

Abstract

In this paper we report the fabrication and characterization of a fiber optic H2S gas sensor utilizing zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles. The sensor works on wavelength modulation scheme. The resonance wavelength increases with gas concentration.
