Biomimetic optical filter based chemical sensing techniques

Abstract

Biomimetic, filter-based chemical detectors have been designed to detect various chemicals of interest. We present some of the existing approaches, and a new comparative-discrimination spectral detection approach for the detection of overlapping chemical spectral signatures.
