Highly sensitive SERS based nano-sculptured thin film biosensor for the detection of vitellogenin: an endocrine disruption biomarker

Abstract

A biosensor has been fabricated by using the SERS of 4-Aminothiophenol (4-ATP) on optimized nano-sculptured thin films (nSTFs) of silver over Si substrates. The limit of detection is as small as 5 pg/ml of vitellogenin.
